Frequently asked questions:

Are you a full time photographer?

Yes. Shooting weddings is my passion and my full-time job.

If we book you, would you be our photographer? Do you use a second shooter or associates?

If you book Graciela Vilagudin Photography to shoot your wedding I will most definitely be your photographer. Every photo on this website has been taken by me. I believe too many photographers make the couple and guests nervous and super aware of the camera. I prefer to work in an unobtrusive way to capture natural images for you. If you have a very large wedding (200+ guests) or would prefer a second shooter I can arrange one at cost.

Do you travel?

Absolutely! I try very hard to keep my travel costs down and very often there is no travel charge.

What photographic equipment do you use? Do you have a backup?

I always bring two cameras Canon 5D Mark III and a few lenses: Canon 24mm Tilt-Shift ,Canon 50mm 1.4, Canon 85 mm 1.8, Sigma 35 mm 1.4 and another back up lens Canon 24-105mm 4.0. Also a Canon Flash 580EXII.

What time do you start shooting?

This depends on a few factors, mainly what time your ceremony is, how far your ceremony is from your getting ready location and whether I am covering both clients getting ready. We iron out details like this closer to the day but you can expect me to start my coverage 2-3 hours before your ceremony.

How long do we have to wait for the photos after the wedding?

First you will receive a link to a preview gallery with around 50 pictures 10 days after your wedding day, and a link to your full online gallery 4 weeks after. Soon after this you will receive your USB of of images in the post.

Are the images we receive on our Usb edited? Can we make prints?

Yes and yes! Every image on your USB will go through my full editing process. You will receive a folder of high resolution images for print. You will also receive a folder of resized web resolution images without watermarks.

We would love an album but we aren't sure how our budget will hold out. Can we book you for coverage and images on Usb and decide on an album later?

Yes! Many of my couples do this and it makes perfect sense. You can add an album at booking stage or decide on one later, it’s up to you.

What do we need to do to book you?

To reserve your date you need to make a first payment of 30% of the total and sign a booking form. Dates cannot be held in any other way.

We love your style! Are you available for our date?

I hope so! Contact me and ask :)
