Donnacha and Karen’s love story began in 2009 in Dublin, meeting at a friends birthday. In 2014 Donnacha was deployed overseas peace keeping in the Lebanon with the Irish Army, and, meeting Karen on his way back from the trip for a romantic break in Paris he popped the question! The humanist wedding was conducted by the couples friend Max while family and friends pitched in to make the ceremony perfect including a guard of honour from Donnacha’s army colleagues and an oscar worthy rendition of ‘The Lovely Dinosaur’. Over 180 guests enjoyed a night of delicious food at the fairytale Horetown House and danced the night away to the tunes of the talented folk in Pump Up the Jam!
